Victim Sexually Assaulted in Pacific Area

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT

Friday, June 4, 1999

On Thursday, June 3, 1999, at approximately 10:30 P.M., a sexual assault occurred in the 12000 block of Lucille Avenue in Pacific Division. The suspect approached the victim from behind as she was retrieving property from her parked vehicle. The suspect displayed a knife and threatened to kill her. The suspect sexually assaulted her before fleeing the location.

The suspect was described as a male, Hispanic or Black, 5'5" to 5'7" tall, 20-25 years old. During the commission of the crime, the suspect was wearing dark clothing and baggy pants.

The Sexual Assault Unit of Pacific Operations Support Division is handling this investigation. Anyone with information regarding this crime should call the investigating detectives at 310-202-4506. During non-business hours, please contact Pacific Area Watch Commander at 310-202-4502.
