"Detectives Seek Help From Community In Murder Investigation"

Los Angeles: On Wednesday, June 12, 2002, at approximately 7:20 P.M., 77th Uniform Patrol Officers responded to a "Shots Fired" call in the 7300 block of South Broadway. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim shot and lying on the ground.

Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The motive for this shooting is unknown at this time and under investigation. The victim was identified as 22-year old Michael Jermane Millage of Los Angeles.
