"19 Year Old Man Found Dead Near Park, Motive Unknown"

 

Los Angeles: On Friday, June 14, 2002, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Foothill Area uniformed officers responded to a radio call regarding a shooting that had just occurred in the 12600 block of Judd Street. Upon arrival, officers observed the victim down on the southwest corner of Judd Street and Dronfield Avenue, across from Hubert Humphrey Park. Fire Department Paramedics examined and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The victim is a Black male adult, approximately 19 years of age. His identity has not been determined at this time. Preliminarily, Detectives have not located any witnesses to the crime, and a motive has not been established.

Foothill Homicide Detectives are conducting the investigation and are asking for the Public's assistance in this matter. Anyone with information regarding this incident are asked to phone 818-834-3115 or information can be phoned to a 24 hour toll free number, 1-877-429-3885.
