Unidentified Man Found Dead in Storm Drainpipe


 

 

Los Angeles: Hollenbeck Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of a male, Hispanic, about 30/40 years of age.

On Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at about 1:20 p.m., the victim was found inside a storm drainpipe located approximately 400 feet south of Valley Boulevard in the 2900 block. The victim's body was partially decomposed and the extent of his injuries were not fully apparent.

As of this date the victim has not been identified and is listed under John Doe. The Los Angeles County Coroner's postmortem examination revealed that the victim was shot one time in the back of his head.

The public's assistance is needed in solving this murder. Anyone with information is asked to contact Hollenbeck Homicide Detectives at 323-526-3142 during normal business hours.
