Mentally Challenged Man Missing

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing Montebello resident.

52 year-old Jesus Sandoval was last seen at Wilshire Boulevard and Crenshaw Avenue in the City of Los Angeles. On June 16, 2003, at about 3:30 p.m., Mr. Sandoval was on a MTA bus for an outing with three others. Mr. Sandoval got off the bus somewhere between Crenshaw Boulevard and Western Avenue.

Mr. Sandoval takes medication for mild retardation and he has the mental capacity of a five year-old. He had been reported missing on one prior occasion and was located in the City of Alhambra.

Mr. Sandoval is a family member of a colleague of Los Angeles City Council President Alex Padilla.

Jesus Sandoval is described as a male Hispanic, brown eyes, brown hair, 5' 7'. 200 lbs. He was last seen wearing a red short sleeve shirt, blue jeans and grey tennis shoes.
