Robbery Suspects’ Photos Released to the Public
WHAT:
News conference to ask for the public’s help in identifying three
kidnap/robbery suspects, who were photographed by a bank surveillance
camera.

Los Angeles: On May 19, 2004, at about 1:00 p.m., a 65 year-old
Hispanic man was kidnapped at gunpoint by three male suspects in the
Wilmington area. The victim was forced into the suspects’ car and driven to
a Bank of America, where he was forced to withdraw his life savings and give
it to the suspects.
All three suspects are described as being Hispanics and speak fluent
Spanish. One suspect is described as being 30 to 40 years of age, 5 feet, 9
inches tall, and weighs about 170 pounds. Another is about 40 to 50 years
old, stands about 5 feet, 6 inches, and weighs 190 pounds. The third suspect
is said to be between 35 to 40 years old, about 6 feet tall, and weighs 200
pounds.
The suspects’ car is described as a 1985 to 1995 model, Toyota 4-door,
gray or light green in color.
Bank surveillance photographs of the suspects will be released at the
news conference.
