Murder-Suicide in Sylmar

 

Los Angeles: On Sunday, June 6, 2004, at 3:16 a.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a "Murder Just Occurred’ radio call in the 15000 block of Bledsoe Street in the Sylmar area. Family members directed the responding officers to two dead bodies. The bodies were inside a converted garage at the same location. The deceased, Antonia Diaz and Jose Pulido, were the victims of fatal gunshot wounds.

The investigation revealed that Jose Pulido shot Antonia Diaz to death, then shot himself in an apparent murder/suicide. The deceased were transported to the Los Angeles County Coroners Office and are awaiting an autopsy.
