What:
Media is invited to meet the 11 persons being promoted into command positions, and the 8 others being transferred to new positions.  The “meet and greet” will precede a staff meeting of all LAPD Captains with Chief Bratton.  Media also will be allowed to film briefly inside the meeting room.
