Man Discharged from Hospital is Missing

Los Angeles: Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing man who was discharged from Los Angeles County USC Medical Center on Feb. 28, 2008.

The family of a missing man, Anthony Gomez, and the Los Angeles Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Gomez. He was last seen on Feb. 28, 2008, at approximately 3:00 p.m. when he was discharged from Los Angeles County USC Medical Center after a brief stay for medical reasons. Anthony hasn’t been heard from since. His family has advised that Anthony has chronic medical problems and may be dehydrated or malnourished. He also may be using a walker.

Gomez is described as a 42-year-old male Caucasian with brown hair and a short-brown beard, brown eyes, five feet seven inches and approximately 120 pounds. His clothing is unknown.

Anyone who has information about Gomez’ location is encouraged to contact Detectives Bruce Kuehl or Arnie Adauto of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit at 213-485-5381. During off-hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to a 24-hour, toll free number, 1-877-LAWFULL (529-3855).
