Why:
The Los Angeles Police Department is introducing new helicopters to it’s fleet. The helicopters have been painted “black and white” and were debuted in February 2008 in Houston, Texas, at the Annual Helicopter Association International Convention. The LAPD’s paint scheme received rave reviews from thousands of convention attendees.
Members of the media are also invited to attend the Air Support Divisional Inspection scheduled at 8:00 a.m. prior to the News Conference.
