$10K Reward Will Be Offered to Help Solve Felony Hit and Run

WHAT: News Conference WHEN: Thursday, May 27, 2010 9:45 a.m. WHERE: Northeast corner of La Cienega Boulevard and Melrose Place WHO: Los Angeles City Councilman Paul Koretz, District 5 LAPD Lieutenant Dan Witman, Acting Commanding Officer, West Traffic Division LAPD Detective Alasea Jackson, West Traffic Division LAPD Investigator Zachary Hutchings, West Traffic Division LAPD West Traffic Division Detectives Family members of the victim WHY: The family of Benjamin Zelman is offering a $10,000 Reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the Hit and Run Driver responsible for critically injuring Benjamin on Wednesday, May 19, 2010. It is also an opportunity to highlight the importance of pedestrian safety, and the consequences of failing to stop to identify and offer assistance, when involved in a traffic collision.
