On Sunday, March 25, 2007 at about 6:50 PM, 19-year-old Hector Balderas was shot multiple times in the 9100 block of Tobias Avenue in Pacoima. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, and died next day.

Councilmember Alarcon will be hosting the press conference to announce the approval by the City Council of a $50,000 reward.
