Los Angeles : On November 19, 2004 at 6:05 a.m. , a fatal traffic collision occurred on the North West corner of Wilkinson Avenue and Oxnard Street . The victim, Abraham Herrera, 83 years of age and a resident of North Hollywood , was struck by an unidentified hit and run vehicle.

The victim was walking North in an unmarked cross walk toward the North West Corner of Wilkinson Avenue at Oxnard Street . The victim was hit by an unknown hit and run driver who was travelling west on Oxnard Street .

The victim was transported by Los Angeles Fire Department Rescue Ambulance to Sherman Oaks Hospital where he died.

The Los Angeles Police Department, Valley Traffic Division Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance with the identification of the hit and run driver or vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact Valley Traffic Division at 818-756-8391
