Shooting in Foothill

 

Los Angeles: On October 20, 2004, at about 1:30 a.m., Foothill Officers received a radio call involving shots fired in the Lake View Terrace area near Kagel Canyon Street and Foothill Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers observed gunshot victim Martin Martinez, a 19 year-old resident of Lake View Terrace, on the ground near a vehicle. Mr. Martinez was transported to a local hospital by the Fire Department where he was admitted in critical condition.

The investigation revealed that a small vehicle stopped in front of the victim’s vehicle, and the suspect exited the vehicle and shot numerous times striking the victim.
