Fatal Traffic Collision in South Los Angeles

 

Los Angeles: On October 24, 2004, at about 8:30 p.m., a fatal traffic collision occurred on Vermont Avenue at 65th Street in 77th Street Division.

The collision occurred just south of the intersection when a white Chevrolet Caprice, driven by a 28 year-old Los Angeles resident, driving southbound on Vermont Avenue, struck an unidentified woman who was lying on the roadway. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel confirmed the woman was dead at the scene.

South Traffic Division Detectives are handling this investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact South Traffic Detective Division at 323-290-6063.
