22-Year-Old Man Shot and Killed Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the persons responsible for the shooting death of 22-year-old Filiberto Ramos Ramirez of Arleta. On Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at about 4 p.m., Foothill patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting that occurred in the area of Woodale Avenue and Filmore Street in Arleta. When officers arrived, they found a victim of a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he later died of his injury. Investigators believe that two suspects approached Ramirez and shot him. These suspects approached and departed in a vehicle. There is currently no description of the vehicle. The suspects are described as male Hispanics and the motive of the shooting is unknown.
