Woman Sexually Assaulted in South LA

Los Angeles: On Monday, September 1, 2003, at about 1:55 a.m., a 21 year-old female victim was involved in an argument with her cousin and was dropped off in the area of Adams Boulevard and La Salle Avenue. As the victim was walking westbound on Adams Boulevard toward Arlington Avenue, a male suspect approached her from the side. The suspect displayed a knife and threatened the victim’s life. The suspect then grabbed the victim and pulled her into a secluded area where he sexually assaulted her.
After the assault, the suspect fled in an unknown direction on foot. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and was released.
The suspect was described as a male Black, 5’ 7", 150 lbs., 20-30 years of age.
