Mentally Challenged Woman Missing

 

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Darlene Michelle Edwards.

Darlene Michelle Edwards was last seen on August 31, 2003 at 12:00 p.m., when she left the Video Expo Store located at 11252 Glenoaks Boulevard in Pacoima.

Edward’s mental condition is poor and she has a mental capacity of a ten year-old. Edwards knows her name but will have difficulty giving her home address. Edwards is carrying identification and has a history of leaving her home.

Edwards is a 25 year-old female Black, brown hair, brown eyes, 5’5'' and weighs approximately 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red tank top, blue capri pants, a white belt and black shoes. Edward’s hair is in braids and is pulled back from her face and she has very small teeth.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Los Angeles Police Department, Missing Persons Unit at 213-485-5381. On weekends and during off-hours, please contact the 24-hour toll free number at the Detective Information Desk at 1-877-LAWFULL, 1-877-529-3855.
