Sexual Predator Being Sought

Los Angeles: On September 7, 2003, at about 5:30 a.m., a 31 year old female was in her apartment in the 8900 block of Ramsgate Avenue, in the Westchester area of Los Angeles when a suspect entered through an open window and sexually assaulted her.

Two prior sexual assaults have been associated with the same suspect. One incident occurred at the 5300 block of Knowlton Avenue also in the Westchester area and the other at a nearby location in the City of Inglewood.

Robbery Homicide Division was notified and took charge of the investigation.

A community alert was prepared and disseminated through the neighborhood and to the media.

A fourth incident of attempt burglary occurred in the same area on September 15, 2003 and is being investigated in order to determine if the crimes are related.

A composite of the suspects is available to the media at the Media Relations Office.
