On-going Dispute Leads to Stabbing on School Campus
Los Angeles: West Los Angeles Area Detectives are investigating
the stabbing incident that injured a student on campus grounds.
On Tuesday, September 24, 2003, at about 2:15 p.m., a fight broke out on
the campus of Palisades High School located at 15777 Bowdoin St. The fight
continued behind the school. The suspect a 14 year-old male White stabbed a
15 year-old male Korean victim in the back. The victim was taken to a local
hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Los Angeles Unified School Police observed the tail end of the fight and
arrested the suspect and recovered the weapon. The suspect was transported
to West Los Angeles Station for booking. The fight was over a dispute
between the suspect and the victim that had been brewing for several days.
Both the suspect and the victim are juveniles and attend Palisades High
School
The Los Angels Unified School Police are handling the investigation and
West Los Angeles Area Detectives are assisting in the investigation. Anyone
