Detectives Seek Clues In Shooting Death
Los Angeles: On Thursday, September 25, 2003 at about 9:15 a.m.,
28 year-old Kevin Ronald Ross was shot while sitting in his vehicle. The
vehicle was parked in front of the 100 block of East 84th Place.
The suspect’s drove up next to Ross’s vehicle, and the right front passenger
fired several times with an unknown caliber handgun, striking him in the
upper torso.
The suspects were last seen driving away westbound on 84th
Place and then northbound on Main Street. Los Angeles Fire Department
Paramedics responded and transported the victim to Martin Luther King Jr.
Hospital and was listed in critical condition. On Friday morning, September
26, 2003, at 11:00 a.m., he died as a result of his injuries.
The motive and the suspect(s) identity are unknown.
