Man Shot and Killed in Parking Lot

 

Los Angeles: On September 1, 2004, at about 3:50 p.m., Northeast Area patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the 2800 block of West Sunset Boulevard. Upon arrival, the officers determined the crime scene was the parking area of the Tom’s Restaurant. The officers discovered the lifeless body of a Hispanic man on the driveway of the restaurant.

Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The victim received what appeared to be a single gunshot wound to his chest.

The motive is unknown.

The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification to his family.
