Six Month-Old Abducted by Mother

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting that the media provide the public with the following information to assist law enforcement efforts in locating a missing child.

On September 28, 2004, at about 10:00 p.m., 30 year-old Issavara Sathitsemakul was visiting her six year-old child at the home of the child’s father, located in the 1700 block of North Harvard Boulevard. The child’s mother who is estranged and unstable, abducted the child and was last seen in a white 1998 Honda Civic, two-door vehicle. The California license plate number is 5GVU482.

Sathitsemakul was described as a female Asian with black hair, brown eyes, 5’ 3" and 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a brown shirt, blue jeans and black sandals. The child’s name is Tharasara Lopez and she has black hair, brown eyes, and weighs approximately 15 pounds. She was last seen wearing white clothing.

Detectives are concerned for the safety of the child. Anyone with information is requested to call Hollywood Detectives, at 213-972-4321. On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free number at the Detective Information Desk, at 1-877-LAWFULL 1-877-529-3855.
