LAPD Metro Division Open House

What:
The Los Angeles Police Department Metropolitan Division Open House

When:
Saturday, October 1, 2005
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Where:
LAPD Ahmanson Equestrian Facility
3934 Rigali Avenue
Los Angeles, CA  90039

Who:
Officers from LAPD SWAT, Mounted Platoon, K-9 and Bomb Squad
Officers from the California Highway Patrol
Officers from the Los Angeles Fire Department

Why:
The LAPD Metropolitan Division is celebrating its 17th anniversary with an Open House.  The public is invited to meet officers and tour the Ahmanson Equestrian Center.  Demonstrations by Mounted, SWAT and K9 officers will occur throughout the day.  Additionally, displays by specialized units of the Police Department and other government agencies will be shown.
