The deputies contacted LAPD detectives since the location is the LAPD’s jurisdiction.

The homicide investigation is on-going.  The motive and suspect(s) description remain unknown.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact South Bureau Detectives Chris Barling or Lyman Doster at 213-485-1383.  After hours or on weekends, call the 24-hour, toll-free number at 1-877-LAWFULL (529-3855).  Callers may also remain anonymous by texting “CRIMES” with a cell phone or by logging on to www.lapdonline.org and click on Web Tips.  When using a cell phone always begin the message with “LAPD.”
