A Heated Argument Escalates to Attempt Murder in South LA NR10188cj

On May 26, 2010 Detectives from LAPD’s Southeast Area, along with Representatives from Councilmember Bernard Parks Office, held a News Conference to announce a $50,000 reward being offered for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of Mark Tucker.  Tucker is accused of shooting and attempting to murder his ex-girlfriend on March 30, 2010, critically injuring her.  The crime occurred in the 600 block of East 106th Street and the victim Katrina Green attended the news conference.

He is described as a 40-year-old Black man from the Los Angeles area, 5’10” tall, 200 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, with two distinctive tattoos: "Breanna" on his right arm and "Quitico" on his left arm.

Los Angeles:  The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Southeast Area detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating Mark Tucker.  Tucker was involved in the attempt murder of his ex-girlfriend in the City of Los Angeles.

On March 30, 2010, at 10:30 p.m., LAPD Southeast Area officers responded to a radio call regarding a shooting.  When officers arrived they found a 36-year-old female, with a gunshot wound to the back.

According to detectives, Tucker and the victim were having an argument when the he shot the victim and ran from the location.  There were two children present during the shooting.

Tucker is described as a male Black with date of birth of February 15, 1970.
