WHO: LAPD Captain II, Al Neal, South Traffic Division LAPD Detective, Ryan Moreno, South Traffic Detectives LAPD Officer, Carol Mitchell, South Traffic Detectives LAPD Officer, Gerald Chavarria, South Traffic Victim’s parents and siblings

WHY: On February 27, 2019, around 9:05 p.m., a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed east on Manchester Avenue, collided with a 32-year-old male bicyclist (Joseph Morgan Prandoni) as he traveled east on Manchester Avenue from Gramercy Place. The driver of the vehicle, in a possible Gray Nissan Cube, failed to remain at the scene, identify themselves, and render assistance. The vehicle then fled eastbound on Manchester Avenue after striking the victim. The bicyclist succumbed to his injuries as a result of the accident.

The Los Angeles City Council has approved a reward of $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this crime.
