Detectives Seeking Public’s Help in Identifying Murder Suspect(s) NR19289jl

San Pedro: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting death of 57-year-old man.

On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, around 11:30 p.m., Harbor Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of an ‘Assault with a Deadly Weapon’ (ADW) shooting in the 200 block of W. 2nd Street in San Pedro. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Eric Guillory, a 57-year-old, male Black, lying in the courtyard of the Rancho San Pedro Housing Development. Guillory sustained a gunshot injury to his chest and was pronounced dead at scene by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.

Detectives have obtained video from the surrounding area which depicts the suspect vehicles, a black four-door sedan, which appears to be following a gray four-door sedan. Detectives believe the two vehicles were together based on the video footage that was obtained throughout the area. The attached video clip shows the vehicles turning southbound on Palos Verdes Street from 1st Street in San Pedro moments before the shooting.
