Shooting Leaves Man Dead

Los Angeles: Detectives are asking for the public's help in locating the suspect(s) that shot and killed a man.

On Monday, March 10, 2008, during the early morning hours, neighbors found the lifeless body of 26 year old, Trancito Hernandez. Hernandez was found laying in the front yard of a residence in the 2900 block of South Norton Avenue. Hernandez had parked his vehicle near his mother's residence located south of Jefferson Boulevard when unknown suspects approached him. The suspect fired four to six rounds, striking him multiple times.

The suspect(s) and weapons are outstanding. The motive appears to be gang related.
