WHEN: Tuesday, December 22 12 p.m. WHERE: Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) West Valley Police Station Community Room 19020 Vanowen Street Reseda, CA 91335 WHO: LAPD Operations Valley Bureau Commander Jorge Villegas LAPD West Valley Area Captain John Egan LAPD West Valley Area Detectives WHY: For media availability to allow LAPD detectives to answer questions about the case and suspect, who is already in custody. And to address the aftermath of the incident, which has left behind the victim’s 6-year-old son. Detectives will discuss the establishment of a trust fund for the child.
