LAPD Employee Needs Help

Barbeque Fundraiser

Wilshire Division Officers and Friends

Why:
Deatrice Thomas, an 18-year veteran of the Police Department has been recovering from a critical illness. In April 2008, during her stay in the hospital, Deatrice's apartment building burned to the ground along with all of her possessions, leaving her with nothing. She is still recovering from her illness and is in serious need of assistance.

A barbeque is being held in her honor. Donations may be made to the trust account set up in her name or by attending the barbeque and donating in person. Trust fund information:
