Shooting leads to death in Boyle Heights NR16230aj

Boyle Heights: Los Angeles Police Department Hollenbeck Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects involved in the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Raul Ceja Jr.

On Friday, July 22, 2016, around 9:35 p.m., officers from the Hollenbeck patrol area responded to a radio call of an ambulance shooting in the 900 block of Mott Street.

The Los Angeles City Fire personnel responded to the scene. Mr.Ceja failed to respond to medical treatment and was pronounced dead at scene.

This is an ongoing investigation.
