UPDATE

Mr. Velez was located and reunited with his family on June 2.

Northridge: The family of Ramon Velez and the Los Angeles Police Department’s Devonshire Area detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating him.

Ramon was last seen on June 1, 2018, at around 10:00 p.m., walking outside to get some fresh air from his residence in the 18500 block of Prairie Avenue in Northridge.

Ramon has a diminished mental capacity and a medical condition which requires medication to maintain his health.

Ramon is described as a 42-year-old male Hispanic, with black hair, brown eyes, standing at approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, and weighing 120 pounds. Ramon was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, and wearing a brown permanent medical helmet.
