Suspect takes Purse from Parked Vehicle NR18250ml

Wilmington: The Los Angeles
Police Department’s Harbor Area Auto Detectives are asking for the
public’s assistance in identifying a burglary from motor vehicle
suspect.

On September 29, 2018, around 11:35 p.m., Harbor officers met with
the victim in the 800 block of West Pacific Coast Highway in the
city of Wilmington.

The victim stated she drove to a local liquor store around 9:30
p.m., on West Pacific Coast Highway to drop off some items. She
left her unlocked vehicle parked outside the location. The suspect
approached the store and can be seen looking inside the victim’s
vehicle through the driver’s side window.

The suspect walked away from the vehicle, however, immediately
returned. He then went to the passenger door, opened it and took
the victim’s purse with personal items and money.

The suspect is described as a male, Hispanic, between 25-30 years
of age, black hair, stands 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 170
pounds wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.
