Harbor City: Homicide detectives
from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area are asking for
the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to
the identification of the suspects responsible for killing
20-year-old K’Len Grandberry.

On Saturday, January 26, 2019, around 1:50 p.m., Harbor Area patrol
officers responded to an “Ambulance Shooting” radio call in the
1500 block of Anaheim Street in Harbor City. Upon their arrival,
officers located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Preliminary
investigation determined K’Len Grandberry was with a group of
friends at an apartment complex. Unknown suspects approached the
group from the south side of the apartment complex and began
shooting. K’Len attempted to flee from the area of the gunfire, but
was struck and collapsed.

Los
Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported K’Len
to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. Two
additional victims were shot and are listed in stable condition.
They are expected to survive.
