Charlie has been found and reunited with his owner.

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Northeast Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating the dog Charlie and reunite him with his family.

On October 22, 2021, around 7:30 p.m., a grand theft auto occurred in the 1300 block of Douglas Street. The victim was making a food delivery and left the vehicle unlocked with the keys inside the ignition.

A 2010 Honda Fit, 2-Door, orange in color was stolen with the family dog inside the vehicle. A short time later, Northeast officers recovered the vehicle in the area of Silent Era Drive and Duane Street. Unfortunately, the dog was not found.

The dog is described as a male Argentinian Mastiff, three-years-old, 100 pounds, white in color with a distinctive black patch over his left eye. The dog’s name is Charlie.
