"13 Year-Old Boy Missing – UPDATE"
 
Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Pacific Area Officers are looking for a 13 year-old boy who has been missing since Sunday, August 10, 2003.
At about 7:00 p.m., on Sunday evening, 13 year-old Jonathan Lopez was last seen at the Venice Boardwalk, near Santa Monica. Jonathan became separated from his parents and was last seen walking on the boardwalk toward the Santa Monica Pier.
Jonathan has the mental capacity of a 5 year-old due to his medical condition, which resembles Down Syndrome. He was wearing a white short sleeve school uniform shirt and navy blue pants. He is described as a male Hispanic, brown hair, brown eyes, 5’ 6", 170 lbs. with a light complexion. He can also be identifiable by the swaying of his head in a back and forth direction as he walks.

On August 11, 2003, at 5:20 p.m., a Los Angeles Police Department’s motor officer spotted Jonathan near Ingraham Street and Western Avenue in apparent good condition.
