$15,000 Reward for Cell Phone Business Robberies NR16296jh

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles
Police Department Robbery Homicide Division, Robbery Special
Section detectives are asking for public’s help in identifying
robbery suspects that committed a series of robberies targeting
cellular phone businesses.

Since July 16, 2016, the suspects are believed to be responsible
for 13 incidents. 12 of the robberies occurred in the City of Los
Angeles, while the other robbery occurred in the County of Los
Angeles.

The suspects walked into cellular phone businesses, approached the
employees pointing a handgun, and demanded money. At times, the
suspects demanded cellular phones and used a taser during the
robberies.

The Los Angeles Police Department and Councilman Curren D. Price
from Council District 9 are dedicated to the task of apprehending
those responsible for these robberies. A $15,000.00 reward will be
given to the community members who provide information leading to
the offenders’ identification, apprehension, and conviction.

The suspects are described as male Blacks, 40-50 years old,
standing at 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, and weighing around 170
to 180 pounds.
