17-Year-Old Female Kidnapped

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Division is investigating the kidnapping of a 17-year-old female Hispanic.
On December 2, 2005, at about 1:15 PM, Wilshire Area patrol officers responded to a shooting report near 7th Street and Ardmore Avenue in the Koreatown area.  Witnesses said the female Hispanic was standing on the corner of 7th Street and Ardmore Avenue when a 2002 metallic tan Ford SUV, license number 5RKY569, stopped and the driver yelled to the female to get into the vehicle.  The female refused.  Witnesses then heard what sounded like a gunshot and saw the driver exit the vehicle and force the female Hispanic into the vehicle.  The vehicle drove away from the scene.
Detectives’ follow-up investigation resulted in identifying the driver as 33-year-old Samuel Estuardo Herrera.  He is a Hispanic, 5’ 9”, 200 lbs.  He was last seen wearing a light color T-shirt, dark baseball cap, khaki color shorts and white tennis shoes.  He has multiple tattoos.
The kidnap victim was identified as Alicia Robles and she is 5′ 7″, 140-150 lbs. with brown hair in a ponytail and was wearing a pink sleeveless T-shirt.

UPDATE
Wilshire Detectives reported on December 3, 2005, at about 10:00 a.m., Alicia Robles was found at a friends house in Inglewood, CA.  She suffered lacerations to her head and a black eye.  She was taken to Wilshire Station where she will be released to her parents.  The suspect (boyfriend) is still outstanding.
