Los Angeles- March 25, 2000 between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Departments Operations South Bureau will be hosting it’s 1st annual Jeopardy Volunteer Appreciation Day, at the Los Angeles Police Academy 1880 North Academy Dr, Los Angeles, Ca.

The Volunteers consist of citizens throughout the city of Los Angeles whom volunteer their time and talents to assist the Los Angeles Police Departments Jeopardy Program. The Jeopardy Program helps at risk youth, with tutoring and provide martial arts training.

Chief Bernard C. Parks and staff representing the Los Angeles Police Department will be in attendance.

Operations South Bureau will be holding a luncheon in the lounge area of the Police Academy to honor the Jeopardy Volunteers, for their outstanding service.
