WHY:
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Mission Area will host its 1st Annual Val Martinez Memorial Bike Ride to honor the memory of our fallen brother, who passed away from complications due to COVID-19. This event will raise much needed funds for Val’s eight-month-old twin boys, whom he never had the opportunity to meet. In addition, this event will encourage better health and exercise habits within the community.
