$200,000 Reward for Stolen Art

Los
Angeles: Detectives are asking for the public’s help in
locating a valuable art collection taken during a home burglary
last month.

On August 23, 2008, a residential burglary occurred, during
daylight hours, at a home in the Encino area of Los Angeles. The
burglar removed a valuable art collection from the walls of the
home, which included nine original paintings by Marc Chagall, Hans
Hofmann, Chaim Soutine, Diego Rivera, Arshile Gorky, Emil Nolde,
Lyonel Feininger, and Kees van Dongen.

A $200,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the
recovery of the paintings and apprehension of the suspects.
