WHY:
This event is a fun way to raise much needed financial support that will be used to provide low-income, inner-city youth in the Hollenbeck area of Los Angeles with quality sports along with educational, leadership, and mentoring programs.

Here is how it works:  Hollenbeck PAL solicits participation from supporters and friends who agree to raise funds for the organization by allowing themselves to get arrested. On a designated date, the PAL officers will pick-up each arrestee at an agreed time and location (home, work, etc.) to drive them to the Police Station. A humorous “Arrest Warrant” will be read to them as part of the arrest process. All while being filmed!

Participants raise funds by asking friends, colleagues, and family members to help raise money for their “Bail.” Supporters of each participant can make tax-deductible contributions of any amount to help raise the minimum bail amount of $1,200. Among those being arrested are Developer, Tom Gilmore, LAPD Captain Tina Nieto, and several Business Owners from the Los Angeles area.

Comedian Rudy Moreno will be the evenings host and nationally acclaimed comedians including, Claude Stuart, Eddie Jarvis, and Cristela Alonzo will provide a comedy show that will leave you hurting for more!
