WHY:
Southeast Community Relations Unit is proud to announce what promises to be a fantastic afternoon to raise funds for the Los Angeles Police Department Southeast Division Youth Programs, DREW League Foundation and Why Can’t We Make a Difference Foundation.  All three non-profit organizations have joined together for the same cause to better the lives of the youth in South Los Angeles/Watts Area.  The proceeds from this event will continue to provide funds for the following programs: Anti-Bullying Awareness, uniform and league fees for hockey and track, football camps, mentorship programs, Christmas Ronald McDonald House charity event, to establish emergency fund for food and clothing, uniforms for Cadet Programs and educational and career oriented field trips.

This day includes: Professional Players featured in the DREW League such as Metta World Peace, Trevor Ariza, Dorell Wright, Brandon Jennings, Craig Smith, Amir Johnson and MANY MORE.  Celebrity players include: The “GAME”.  At the conclusion of the day’s games there will be a concert featuring performances by YG, Fat Joe, The Game & FiNaTTicZ with special guest appearance from the host of “America’s Got Talent”, Nick Cannon who will feature his video “Die Young”.  MORE TO BE ANNOUNCED….
