"23 Year Old Killed In Car Accident In Central Area"
 
Los Angeles – On Thursday, February 22, 2001, at approximately 11:45 p.m., 23 year old, Marisol Conde was driving her 2001 Ford Mustang northbound on North Main Street, in Downtown Los Angeles, when she lost control of her vehicle and collided with a concrete wall and railroad crossing arm. Ms. Conde was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Also in the vehicle with Ms. Conde were male and female Hispanic passengers. The female is 24 year old and the male is in his 20’s. Both were transported to County USC Medical Center where the female was treated for facial and arm injuries. The male passenger is listed in critical condition.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Ms. Conde, her passengers, and two other friends, who were travelling in another vehicle were returning home after visiting a Restaurant in Hollywood. Alcohol consumption may have played a factor in the collision.
