24-Year-Old Man Missing

Update

On March 19, 2010 Castro was found in a hospital in the city of Downey, in good condition.

Los Angeles:  The family of Marco Castro and the Los Angeles Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Castro, who has been missing since February 21, 2010.

On Saturday, at around 9 p.m., Castro was last seen in the 200 block of West 102nd Street in LAPD’s Southeast Area.  Since that time, he has not returned home or has not been in contact with his family.  Castro’s family is concerned about his mental state and fear for his safety.
 
Castro is described as a male Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes.  He stands about 5 feet 2 inches and weighs approximately 145 pounds.  He was last seen wearing gray shirt, black pants and a white and black jacket.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Castro is urged to contact LAPD Missing Persons Unit Detective Merrill at 213-996-1800.  During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7.
