25-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot in Boyle Heights NR14023gb

Boyle Heights:  Los Angeles Police Department Hollenbeck Division Homicide Detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting of 25-year-old Oscar Alberto Felix.

On January 17, 2014, around 5:20 p.m., Hollenbeck patrol officers responded to a radio call of “Shots fired” in the 600 block of North Fickett Street. When officers arrived at scene, they discovered Felix lying on the front porch of the residence with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
 
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported Felix to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

At this time the motive for the murder is unknown.  Detectives are seeking help from the community on this case.
