$25,000 Reward Offer in 17 Year Old Boy’s Death

Los Angeles: Northeast Area Homicide Detectives need the public’s assistance in locating the suspect(s) responsible for the death of 17 year old Sesar Guzman.

On November 23, 2003, at about 8:50 p.m., officers responded to a radio call of ” Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Shots Fired” in the 400 block of West Avenue 37 in the area of Cypress Park. Suspect(s) fired a weapon causing the death of 17 year old Sesar Guzman. Guzman was standing next to a parked vehicle talking with friends at the time of the shooting.

The Los Angeles City council has approved a reward of $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Sesar Guzman.
