$25,000 Reward Offered for Murder Suspect’s Arrest

Where: Wilshire Community Police Station 4861 West Venice Boulevard Los Angeles, CA

When: Friday, December 7, 2001 12:00 p.m.

Los Angeles: On Thursday, January 4, 2001 at approximately 11:00 p.m. Mr. Harry DeMoss, 48 years of age, left his residence and was driving eastbound on 21st Street at 4th Avenue. The suspect(s), in an unknown type vehicle, approached Mr. DeMoss’ vehicle from behind and fired several rounds from an unknown type handgun into Mr. DeMoss’ vehicle. Mr. DeMoss attempted to escape, driving southbound on 4th Avenue to 23rd Street, where the suspect(s) fired additional rounds at Mr. DeMoss vehicle, striking him, resulting in his demise. The suspect(s) then fled the location.

The City of Los Angeles is offering a $25,000.00 reward for any information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Mr. Harry DeMoss on January 4, 2001.
