$25,000.00 Reward Offered for Murder Suspects

WHERE: Harbor Area Community Police Station 2175 John S. Gibson Boulevard San Pedro

Los Angeles: On Thursday, June 20, 2002, at about 12:30 a.m., Harbor Area Homicide detectives were called to 1419 Cruces Street in the city of Wilmington to investigate the shooting death of victim John Michael Seals. The initial investigation revealed that the victim had just parked and got out of his vehicle when unknown suspect(s) approached him in a vehicle. The suspect(s) then shot him numerous times. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died.

A press conference is being held to announce the City’s offer of a $25,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of John Michael Seals.

The victim’s father along with the investigating detectives will be present at the press conference to request the public’s assistance in locating the suspect(s).
